The festival was filled with various booths that showcased the prized pieces representing Afro-Asian, English and American, and Contemporary Literature. Games, crafts, and refreshments took center stage as it s interactive nature attracted students from different programs.
Overall, it was a delightful experience for both the organizers and visitors who not only played games but also learned different literary traditions. The festival provided a much-needed break for students amid the pressures of their academic programs.
The Society of English Majors expresses its immense gratitude for those who attended and supported the Literary Festival. We also extend our appreciation to Prof. Margaret Baello, Program Coordinator for the BSE-EngChi Department and Officer-in-Charge for the BSE-ENG Department for supporting these initiatives that make the Major's academic endeavors a priority for success. Moreover, the Society sends its thanks to Prof. Rosalie Esteban, Program Coordinator of the Science Department, for allowing the Majors to use Rooms 306 and 307, pushing this event into action.
We also send our deepest thanks to Ms. Stephie Cambe, the Juniors' Afro-Asian Literature professor, for her guidance towards the success of the event. Her commitment to excellence further propels the Society to greater heights.
