NEWS | Hope in a Box: COE Spreads Joy Through Daycare Initiative

Different student organizations under the College of Education (COE) upheld its vision of unity and charity through the Adapt a Box Program at the Divine Love Child Development Center on February 6, 2025.

Under the direction of the COE Dean Dr. Ramona A. Prado, the College of Education Student Council (CESC), and its Adviser, Prof. Rosalie D. Esteban, the event was filled with engaging activities led by different organizations, all to the delight of the children and their parents.

Various student organizations led fun-filled games, performances, interactive experiments, and gift-giving sessions that captivated the young audience.

At the heart of its success was the collective effort brought by all COE organizations, who willfully provided in-kind and monetary donations to make the initiative possible.

"Once again, the collective effort of everyone made a difference and painted smiles on the faces of the children," the CESC stated in a Facebook post.

Through the Adapt-a-Box Program, the College of Education has treasured a culture of compassion and inclusivity, and the organization hopes that these initiatives will continue for years to come.

"Once again, the COE was united as one and created a memory that will last through time and never fade! Together, we will face more triumphs together. Soar higher, Future Educators!" the University of Caloocan City stated in its separate post.
